Overview Of Position

The person in this role will establish a digital marketing center of excellence. Responsible for digital marketing strategy, implementation, and optimization across corporate and consumer brands.

Inclusive of social media strategy and management, social community management, paid digital, lead generation, email marketing, and consumer and corporate owned website content management.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual digital marketing plans in partnership with marketing leaders, driving goal setting, strategies, and tactics required to deliver on company and brand business objectives.
• Work with 3rd party partners (e.g. Google, social platforms Facebook, Twitter, Salesforce, etc) to identify growth and enhancement opportunities.
• Create and execute compelling, impactful programs that drive awareness, consideration, leads, conversion and loyalty among existing Clients and Coaches.
• Drive accountability for performance of digital agencies (creative and media) and consultants.
• Responsible for social media strategy development, roll out of program elements and execution, content calendar development, content production, determining paid support, analytics and optimization and other related tasks.
• Responsible for digital marketing strategy development and execution, performance measurement and optimization.
• Work with data marketing and analytics team to measure, monitor, optimize and on all digital marketing efforts, deriving insights that lead to actionable outcomes.
• Overall responsibility for optimization strategy of both the corporate (Medifast Inc.) and consumer (OPTAVIA.com) brand websites collaborating with business owners who are responsible for content.
• Build and mentor an exceptional in-house team and partner with internal creative resources and external partners to accomplish strategic objectives.
• Develop strong working relationships with cross-functional leaders.
• Build and manage budget for all digital marketing related activities.

Scope

3 direct s in the short term, with the expectation of building out a team to support the needs of the business including technical talent in email marketing and website design.

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

• 15+ years of experience in developing and implementing digital marketing strategies
• 7+ years team leadership experience
• In depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, paid digital media, social media, SEM / SEO, Google analytics and CRM software
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strategy AND execution : combining leadership and strategic vision with an operational understanding of what needs to be done and the willingness to do it

• Entrepreneurial : ready to evolve digital marketing within the organization, continuously innovating to achieve strong results.
• Proven success creating and executing effective digital marketing strategies, with the ability to communicate that vision in a pragmatic way using benchmarking and key metrics.
• Excellent written and verbal communications, including the ability to write in a compelling and authoritative style.
• Must possess strong formal and informal leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage conflict and problem solve in a highly-collaborative environment
