We are currently looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our Recruitment Team within the Human Resources division.
This is a full time opportunity, on a Civil Service loan basis until 31st March 2022 (with possibility for extension). The role will formally be based in 10 South Colonnade, Canary Wharf London, E14 4PU, but we continue to work from home. Please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas. Informal hybrid working arrangements may be available as agreed with the line manager.

What’s the role?
This is a key role within the Human Resources Division, delivering the full 360 recruitment cycle for designated client areas. The Recruitment Assistant is responsible for all administrative aspects of the recruitment process and running campaigns, providing an excellent pro-active recruitment service to recruiting managers and applicants as well as communicating and developing relationships with the assigned divisions/centres within the Agency, external job boards/media and recruitment agencies.
Key responsibilities:
To support the Recruitment Advisor in coordinating all recruitment within specified business areas, building strong working relations and knowledge within these areas.
To offer an excellent recruitment service to hiring managers, advising on process and best practice, ensuring adherence to all aspects of the recruitment policy, and compliance with Civil Service Commission and legislative regulations.
To actively engage hiring managers in the recruitment process, discussing and agreeing advertising sources, timeframes and any media costs.
Write and post accurate and engaging adverts that are legally compliant, on brand, and in line with best practice.
Ensure a seamless recruitment experience for the hiring managers and candidates, advising of improvements where necessary and appropriate.
Who are we looking for?
Our successful candidate will:
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Have strong organisation and administrative skills, with a good knowledge of IT.
Have some experience, or demonstrable understanding, of delivering a recruitment service.
Have experience, or understanding of, managing high volume recruitment.
Be able to liaise with staff at all levels with strong influencing skills.
