Medical practice Hiring for Medical Assistant at Randolph, NJ Full Time

Medi-Weightloss of Randolph is seeking a Medical Assistant with front office experience to join our talented team! The ideal candidates must be a team player, experience with Insurance, VOB, possess clinical experience in EKG & phlebotomy. Prior experience and training in exercise is a plus!

PART-TIME

Primary responsibilities include patient vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, and front office.

Administrative Duties:

• Use a multi-line phone system to answer and appropriately route all incoming calls.
• Conducts follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient’s progress and address any concerns
• Refers non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the appropriate staff member.
• Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
• Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies
• Daily scanning and uploading of documents in Patient files
• Trains additional staff on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physician
• Participates in clinic marketing efforts and provides ongoing support to promote clinic profitability and success

Clinical Duties* (vary based on credentials):

• Obtains patient’s vitals, EKG, and Phlebotomy
• Administers IM injections
• Prepares laboratory order forms
• Obtains patient laboratory results
• Assists physician or mid-level practitioner with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals
• Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR
• Performs other clinical duties as required
• Conducts follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient’s progress and address any concerns

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
