Role Description
This is an entry-level, volunteer, remote role for a Medical Writer / Editor at the Medical Literacy Initiative. The Medical Writer will be responsible for researching and writing articles discussing medical topics in an easy-to-understand manner for the Medical Literacy Initiative magazine. Medical Editors will revise and edit existing content, as well as assist with fact-checking. Writers and editors will take on a few articles per year but can have more involvement if desired. This is a great opportunity for new writers looking to expand their portfolio or students looking for publication opportunities. We welcome entry level applicants. This role has the potential to turn into a paid position overtime.
