Medical Assistant Family Practice

Full-time permanent position in Clairmont

Our small private practice has served the Clairmont community for many years. We provide the best personalized care to all our patients. We are currently hiring an experienced Medical Assistant to support one of our Doctors and his patients. The role will be to provide first class patient care as a Clinical Medical Assistant. The practice is in the Clairmont area.

This is a full-time permanent position Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

Family Practice Medical Assistant Requirements:

• Medical Assistant with 2 or more years recent work experience in a private practice or clinic setting
• Strong commitment to patient care and customer service
• Experience with rooming patients, vitals and update patient chart
• Ability to do blood draws
• Experience with authorizations for tests and prescriptions
• Experience with calling patients with routine lab results
• Willing to assist in other areas as needed

Family Practice Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Room patients, take and record vital signs, update and note patient medications and reason for visit
• Assist Physicians with patient office visits and procedures
• Prepare and stock patient rooms
• Authorizations for tests and prescriptions
• Prescription refills
• Phlebotomy
• Calling patients with routine test and lab results
• Other duties may be assigned by Doctors and Office Manager

Full time permanent position Monday – Thursday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

And Friday 8:00 am to 2:00 pm

The rate of pay is approximately $17.00 hr. to start based on experience.
