Med Pro Staffing Solutions is seeking a talented Staffing Coordinator/ Recruiter to join our team. Our staffing agency provides staffing services to a variety of hospitals and similar facilities. This individual will help the Office Manager by assisting with daily operations, including Helping recruit new applicants, new clients, evaluating resumes, scheduling, and conducting interviews, assisting applicants through the employment process, managing new hire paperwork and matching applicants with rewarding work and more.

Responsibilities

• Capability to interact with people at all levels, with a focus on building high-quality relationships

• Design and implement overall recruiting strategy

• Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives

• Source candidates as appropriate

• Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters

• Use recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates’ skills

• Schedule phone, virtual and/or in-person interviews

• Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers

• Prepare new hire paperwork and background checks ensuring legislation requirements are met
• Participate in continuous improvement projects

Skills

• Proven work experience as a recruiting/staffing coordinator
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline

• knowledge of HR policies and best practices

• Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks

• Familiarity with Applicant tracking systems

• High school diploma, associate degree preferred
• 1 – year staffing / recruiting experience
• Customer service and/or sales experience
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate effectively

• Possess effective people skills with the ability to relate to management and employees
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as resumes and procedure manuals
• Proficient user of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
