As we continue to grow and evolve our store concepts, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager – Retail, to lead our significant internal and external recruitment agenda, and provide the best application to onboarding experience for our candidates.
If you are experienced in, and passionate about spotting talent, developing attraction strategies, and process improvement, this is the ideal opportunity for you!
The Role You Could Play
As Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end hiring journey of all in-store and multi-site leadership roles across Australia and New Zealand. Your role is to understand our unique culture and talent requirements, and take a holistic approach to attracting, sourcing, assessing and onboarding MECCAmazing team members.
Your role will involve:
  • Partnering closely with senior leaders to understand store team structures and resourcing gaps throughout the year
  • Leading the annual recruitment calendar, including forecasting activities and prioritisation
  • Managing a team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators/Partners and others involved in the recruitment process
  • Supporting the recruitment and planning of new store openings/expansions (we have a lot in the pipeline!)
  • Developing project plans and executing initiatives that focus on talent attraction, proactive sourcing and talent pipelining
  • Driving continuous change and improvement across all candidate stages and internal ways of working
What You Will Bring
You will have proven experience in an end-to-end recruitment role within retail and demonstrate the ability to think outside the box. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously, and champion best practice and efficient ways of working in everything you do.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Ensuring every candidate has an exceptional experience throughout our recruitment process
  • The ability to influence outcomes, work quickly, with accuracy and think multiple steps ahead
  • Previous experience leading a recruitment process at scale for large intakes across multiple regions
  • Previous line management experience, leading recruiters and assessors
  • Driving a smooth onboarding and induction process for new starters and hiring managers
  • Strong analytical skills to track recruitment performance and make data-driven decisions
