The Role You Could Play:
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing IT Operations team to install, support and maintain our servers, storage, and other computer systems.

Reporting into the IT Ops Lead, you will be responsible for planning for and responding to service outages and issues, and ensuring a high level of security and performance controls. This role will also see you ensuring high availability of all critical systems which will bring greater value to the business through optimum uptime.


The main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Providing level 2 and 3 Service Desk support
  • Maintaining multiple servers and workstations ensuring proper integration with core IT systems
  • Application installation, maintenance, documentation, and support
  • Implementing and maintaining SOE builds – Retail and EUC
  • AD and AAD experience – Managing and deploying
  • Assisting with hardware, firewalls, Switches, telecom and software vendor evaluation.
  • Maintaining and managing correct AV equipment onsite and remote.
  • Maintaining and managing On Prem Servers and Storage.
  • Maintaining and managing cloud environments AWS and Azure.
  • Documenting, monitoring, reporting, and managing the resolution of systemic issues.
What You Will Bring:
You are an energetic self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects and duties simultaneously, prioritise as needed and devise flexible approaches that are easily adopted by all levels.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in administration of Active Directory 2012 and Azure AD.
  • Experience in a Customer Service role.
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting and administering both Linux and Windows environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting all environments Windows, Linux and Mac.
  • Cloud technology – AWS preferred
  • Configuration and troubleshooting skills
In addition to your skills and experience above, you enjoy conducting discussions with and writing summaries for the IT Service Desk team that will support with troubleshooting and anticipating future issues. Whilst you can work well autonomously you are all about teamwork and actively solicit ideas and opinions from others to quickly accomplish specific objectives and encourage other team members to voice their ideas and opinions.
