MECCA Brands Hiring for Supply Planner at Richmond, Victoria, Australia Full Time

To ensure that we deliver this to our amazing customers, we are embarking on a Supply Chain transformation and are looking for our next Supply Planner in Fragrance to be a part of driving a world-class supply & demand function that connects our brands to their sales targets, and our customers to their products of choice! Fragrance is a growing category, where you’ll get to work with numerous international brands!

This is a full-time, fixed term role for 18 months.

The role you could play:

Our Supply Planners are responsible for ensuring our MECCA stores and Distribution Centre’s Stock availability, is best in class!

Day to day you will manage our brand delivery-in-full performance and partner with the buying team to execute and reach commercial targets, supporting efforts to lower costs and drive and efficiencies.

A few key responsibilities in this role include:

• Create supply plans for planned promotions, events, range reviews and seasonality
• Manage the purchase order (PO) lifecycle end to end, ensuring accuracy and within timeframes
• Championing the ordering process and flow of stock from Brands to DC according to MECCA service level KPIS to meet stock availability, loss and stock holding metrics
• Ensuring the send out of products (new, live and testers) is performed in line with go-to-market milestone dates through collaboration with Brands & DC teams
• Collaborate to drive availability, accuracy and commercial outcomes for MECCA’s brand partners
• Driving continuous improvement in supply processes

In addition, we are looking for a candidate with:

• 2+ years experience working within a similar supply planning role, ideally within a Retail/ FMCG/ Consumer Goods environment
• Knowledge of merchandise management and/or supply chain systems
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, particularly MS Excel (confident with V Look ups, Pivot tables etc)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify patterns and trends and the business implications
• Demonstrated experience building and fostering relationships with colleagues, cross functional teams and suppliers
