MECCA Brands Hiring for Supply Chain Analyst at Melbourne Airport, Victoria, Australia Full Time

We have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our ever-growing Distribution Centre team!

The Role You Could Play

As the Supply Chain Analyst you will be based on site at our buzzing Distribution Centre at Melbourne Airport, charged with the development and ongoing optimisation of all key data related to the running of the DC operations, including financial performance tracking, KPI production and monitoring, as well as providing key insights for the running of key projects/ initiatives. You will provide analysis, insights and recommendations to the Supply Chain Leadership team to drive business performance and broader supply chain processes improvements.

What You Will Bring

You will be highly commercial, with a strong understanding of business practices beyond pure accounting. You will have experience preferably in Supply Chain, FMCG, retail or wholesale, supply chain domain expertise would be highly regarded along with the with the ability to interpret and understand contractual financial obligations within supplier contracts. You will also have excellent analytical skills with ability to turn data into insights. This highly collaborative role will require excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes.

Day to day, your main responsibilities include:

• Working with the Distribution Centre Team to support and drive a culture of high performance through the interpretation and analysis of business data to effectively partner with the National Distribution Centre Manager to develop and support:

1. Management of the Distribution Centre P&L including development of reflective financial budgets and forecasting for administrative and activity-based labour and freight suppliers. Forecasting includes forward demand replenishments to retail stores and agreed across the wider business with key areas e.g. Store Replenishment team
2. Development of weekly and monthly ing of Distribution Centre KPIs for capturing key financial and operational aspects (People, Safety, Productivity, Service and Inventory)
3. Develop and maintain key people ing across the Distribution Centre

• ing and analysis for the purpose of providing actionable insights to support key business decisions to help drive improvements across the end-to-end Supply chain from strategic to operational level
• Partner with Distribution Centre team (National DC Manager, Operations Manager and Workforce Planning Coordinator) to verify and code key invoices including the accurate entering and tracking of activity labour in the time management systems
• Manage Distribution Centre data requests and Glinda data tables with the BI team
• Assist in the management of Distribution Centre projects as and when required
