MECCA Brands Hiring for Range and Space Manager at Richmond, Victoria, Australia Full Time

MECCA is continuing to push the boundaries in global beauty by opening new stores, evolving and expanding our services and continuing to offer the best curation of local and global beauty brands. As we introduce new brands and broaden our current brand portfolio, we are at the infancy of an incredible Range and Space journey and are looking for a Range and Space Manager to lead a team in delivering on short and long-term space change activities to drive trade initiatives, deliver on category and brand strategies and enhance store productivity across the network and help create a best-in-class range and space function.

The Role You Could Play:

The Range and Space Manager works collaboratively across a broad range of business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, identifies opportunities for space optimization and land and deliver on strategic range and space transformation to further support business growth and strategy. Additionally, this role partners with the Heads of Category to deliver on category strategies through optimization of space and delivery of brand plans as well as Store and Concept Development to support the delivery of space-optimised and efficient new stores and refurbishments.

Overall, the Range and Space Manager contributes to the business by driving improvements to ensure end to end delivery of space change execution, improving productivity and performance at store level and through the delivery of the transformation roadmap to support the business growth ambitions into the future.

What you will bring:

There is no doubt that extensive experience in range and space, ideally in a retail environment working in store design and retail space development along with a passion for our customers is an absolute must for anyone in this role.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Macro and micro space planning to drive productivity across a store network, including working on the planning process for new stores/flips
• Merchandise Unit management and optimisation of the function, including forecasting and managing a sizeable budget
• Experience delivering a range and space roadmap, driving productivity and supporting strategic business ambitions
• Driven long-term change, effectively influencing senior stakeholders and engaging others on the journey
• Previous experience in building high performing teams with strong coaching and mentoring skills
• Extensively worked collaboratively with cross functional teams
• The ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing and sometimes ambiguous environment
