The Role You Could Play:

As Education Partner, you will partner with the Retail, People & Education and MECCAversity teams to build and bring to life localised plans to train and develop the store networks. We are looking for candidates with management experience and a strong passion all things education and MECCA Magic!

While no two days are ever the same, as Education Partner you will be responsible for:

• Working in tandem with Retail, People & Education and MECCAversity counterparts to build and execute localised plans to educate, train and develop team members in line with MECCA’s overarching services and commercial objectives
• Diligently managing operational and financial KPIs (e.g., monthly training hours, logistical costs of training, course completions and assessments)
• Setting the bar when it comes to conduct and performance, and acting as an outstanding role model for MECCA’s vision, values and culture
• Co-facilitating regular inductions with the Education Coordinator, and ensures all new starters are equipped for their first shift in store
• Identifying education gaps across our store network and presenting back opportunities to our central team and sales managers
• Contributing to virtual and face-to-face education content for MECCAversity
• Coordinating and delivering a consistently high standard of virtual and face to face training environments (including but not limited to product, venues, décor, invitations, catering)
• Delivering training and coaching in group and individual settings
• Partnering with senior leaders to plan for the future and grow their talent pipeline

What You Will Bring:

There are a few things that you will need to demonstrate to be set up for success in this role. You are the ultimate ambassador of our values, and you have strong leadership experience with excellent presentation skills, capable of capturing and maintaining engagement from team members.

We’d love to meet you if you have:

• Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced business (ideally in retail, working with store-based team members)
• Comfortable using technology (including Excel, MS Teams, Workday and Zoom)
• Confidence and professionalism in presenting content in person to various sized audiences
• The ability to operate with a high degree of proactivity, accountability and autonomy
• Knowledge of L&D concepts and experience using digital learning technologies
• A flexible communication style to meet relevant audiences, paired with strong verbal and written skills
• Highly developed and proactive problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality control and time management
