The Role You Could Play

As Brand Market Activation Manager within our Merchandise Team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, overseeing, and successfully orchestrating Founder & Brand trips within the market. This is an exciting opportunity for an engaging and exceptionally organised individual to play a pivotal role in enhancing MECCA’s market visits.

In this new and unique role, you’ll gain cross functional experience as you work across multiple departments. With a proactive approach, you will partner with our Heads of Category, Brand Managers and relevant team members as well as key Brand stakeholders, to truly understand our brands and our customers to create unforgettable moments with our brands in market.

Some of your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cross functionally partner with all relevant MECCA teams to develop a strategic trip plan to ensure all objectives are achieved
• Briefing, planning, execution, budget management and post trip reviews
• Hosting Brand & Founders in market and being their key contact and conduit to MECCA
• Completing PIR’s for each trip to be shared with the brand and internal MECCA stakeholders to ensure delivery of objectives and stakeholder satisfaction

What You Will Bring

You utilize your exceptional stakeholder engagement skills to partner with our Brands to develop a clear, strategic brief that ensure the trip not only delivers upon the brand expectations but also further solidify their relationship with MECCA.

You will have the ability to work autonomously and love to take the lead, with excellent communication skills that will allow you to comfortably communicate with all levels of the business. You will have a strong understanding of the MECCA customer and activation channels to make the impossible, possible. With a continuous improvement mindset, you will be passionate and enthusiastic about creative problem-solving and excited by new challenges.

• Exceptional project management skills including planning, communication, time management, delivery pathways and negotiation
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team-based environment
• Has strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
• Works well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to complete tasks to set deadline
