Meca Enterprises is currently seeking a Structural Engineer to join our specialized team in our

Broken Arrow, OK office. The Engineer will work on a range of steel industrial type equipment in the oil and gas industry. Primary Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, prepare structural analysis s for the designs of steel stacks/flares, air-cooled heat exchangers, vessels, piping, and various structural elements/components, mostly related to the oil and gas industry, for submission to clients for approval.
• Review project specifications and drawings to determine applicable design codes and project requirements.
• Review provided structural analysis design s and drawings for errors or inconsistencies that may require stamping.
• Interact and communicate effectively with clients to understand design requirements and revisions to projects.
• Provide quotes to clients for a variety of engineering services.
• Manage workload and ensure projects are completed within provided deadlines.
• Research new, and verify current, designs utilized for localized and specialized design components.
• Assist with other departments and aspects within the company where needed (software development, fabrication, testing, etc.).

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
• Bachelor’s degree from ABET Accredited Institution preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of structural design experience
• PE License preferred
• STAAD software experience strongly preferred
• Autodesk, Inventor, and Nastran FEA software experience strongly preferred
• PRG Paulin software experience preferred
• Working knowledge of the design of steels structures strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of the design of concrete structures or foundations preferred
• Working knowledge and comfortability of navigating a wide range of design codes, standards, and guides including international standards preferred
• Programming experience (C# or VB.net) not required, but a plus
• Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve problems that arise during projects
• Ability to comprehend instructions and request clarification as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally and in writing
• Ability to organize and direct a project to completion
• Must be authorized to work in USA, No H1-B candidates
