Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Providing medication reminders and assisting with medication administration
• Monitoring patients’ vital signs and ing any changes to the nursing team
• Assisting patients with mobility, including transferring and repositioning
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
• Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
• Documenting care provided and ing any changes in patients’ conditions to the nursing team

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a Home Health Aide training program
• Active Home Health Aide certification in the state of Florida. (75 hour Certificate)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Home Health Aide
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and patient care techniques
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and nursing team
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift and move patients with assistance as needed
