MCT Transportation, LLC Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Asheville, NC Full Time

We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to help oversee daily coordination of freight shipments. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure that assigned freight loads are created and tracked in a timely and efficient manner, while also providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:

• Create assigned freight loads in the transportation management system (TMS).
• Verify Freight Carriers compliance with all rules and regulations of the FMCSA.
• Assign approved Freight Carriers to fill open loads.
• Ensure Freight Carrier’s return signed rate confirmations prior to all pick-ups.
• Ensure Customer goods are picked-up, transported and delivered on time to meet and/or exceed Customer expectations. Status updates are ed and tracked in the TMS system.
• and correct any issues that occur with shipments and advise Management.
• Provide occasional afterhours support.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
• 3+ years of freight coordination experience.
• Proficient in transportation management systems and other related software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
