McGinnis Meadows Cattle & Guest Ranch Hiring for Wrangler at Montana Full Time

McGinnis Meadows Cattle & Guest Ranch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our crew as a wrangler in a full-time, year-round position.  We are a cattle and guest ranch and we host guests from all over the world!  Customer service is a priority for all of our staff members.  You will be surrounded by a staff of like-minded, high energy and friendly people.  

Our program focuses on the Buck Brannaman style of horsemanship.  In our program we ride what we teach whether it be in the arena, or on top of the mountains hunting for cattle. The ideal candidate will have experience at W/T/C, knows their diagonals and their leads, has had some experience around cattle, riding out in big country, with roping experience.  Experience shoeing is a plus (as long as you are OPEN to shoeing the way we require).  Experience with driving truck/trailer, tractor a plus.

Must be able to take direction.  Be a self-starter.  Team player.  Great communicator.

As this is a working ranch, our wranglers are expected to participate in all aspects of work on the ranch, from feeding, to building fences, to taking care of cattle mineral, barn chores, and lots of guest interaction.

This position is best suited to someone who enjoys the outdoors and a remote location.  We are 40 minutes from the nearest small town, about an hour from the city of Kalispell and about 2 hours from Glacier National Park.  There is no cell service on the ranch but we do have STARLINK and landlines.  Room and board is provided.  You will receive tips on top of your salary, and we offer an end-of-season bonus as well.  Insurance and 401K is provided for full time employees too!  Pay DOE!!!
