McGill Environmental Systems of NC, Inc Hiring for Heavy Equipment Operator at Moore Haven, FL Full Time

JFE Compost, a leader in the organic waste recycling and compost manufacturing industry, is currently recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Moore Haven, FL composting facility. This position operates a front-end loader to move product through various stages of the compost process.

This position will be responsible for:

• The safe and efficient operation of a front-end loader.

• Pre-shift and post-shift inspection of equipment.

• Routine care of equipment to include greasing, cleaning, etc.

• Hand-tool operation as needed with items such as picks, shovels, brooms, etc.

• Other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 2 years heavy equipment operation experience preferred.

• The ability to work in a team environment.

• The ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and safety

protocols.

• The ability to work daily overtime, and some weekends, as needed.
