RPG Programmer

McCracken Financial Solutions, located in Billerica Ma., is a leading software provider for the financial lending industry. Our products support the origination and servicing of commercial loans from the application process to the disposition of the loan including asset management, accounting and customer communication. McCracken clients are the top commercial lenders including Mortgage Bankers, Banks, Insurance Agencies, Government Agencies, Credit Companies and Thrifts servicing mortgage loans on our STRATEGY system.

Position Description

Design, develop and unit test IBM iSeries applications using SQL, DB2, RPG, RPG ILE and RPG/SQL stored procedures. Write and maintain technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will work directly with clients to define application requirements and estimate the required level-of-effort. He/she will also work individually or with a team to develop a software solution that meets the client s requirements. As part of a services organization, excellent communication and customer service are required.

Skill Set Required

SQL, RPG, RPG ILE, CLP, SQL/RPG stored procedures

5+ years of experience building applications on iSeries platform

Good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills

Must have extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle

Good to Have

Knowledge of Aldon Lifecycle Manager, EGL, RPG II (system 36 environment), FTP, WebQuery

Experience designing and building mortgage banking applications
