About the Role
McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for a fixed-term Talent Partner to join our Victorian based project teams on a 6 month contract.
This role will support the end to end recruitment activity for our project teams with a focus on attracting the best available talent to our business. You will have the opportunity to partner with leaders across our organisation and give advice on best recruitment practices.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop strong partnerships across the projects with business leaders providing recruitment advice and support.
- Work collaboratively with the project HR team to identify resourcing challenges, supporting the workforce planning process and ensure vacant positions are filled with appropriately skilled, experienced and qualified people.
- Talent pipeline building, talent searches and engagement of potential candidates through relevant digital platforms and your own professional networks.
- Empower and support hiring managers during the recruitment process to ensure the candidate gets the best out of their experience with us.
- Prepare advertisements and own the recruitment management system through JobAdder at McConnell Dowell to navigate through applications for jobs.
- Contact candidates, arrange interview times and develop appropriate interview questions in collaboration with the hiring manager so that interviews are conducted efficiently and equitably.
- Interview, test, rank, check references, select candidates and provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates based on the job’s pre-established selection criteria and the organisation’s recruitment policies.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Significant experience as an in-house recruitment specialist
- Experience and established networks within the Construction and Engineering industry
- Experience with advertising for roles and talent searches
