We are searching for an exceptional HR Advisor to join our team. We are looking for an experienced and passionate HR Advisor who will partner with the business, providing HR support and advice on the Kidston Hydro 2 Project in North Queensland.
About the Role:
The role requires a strong HR Advisor that has experience on providing generalist HR advice and who shows initiative. Reporting to the HR Manager you will provide hands on HR assistance for the Project. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor who is looking to bring their experience and enthusiasm onto an iconic project. You will play a key role in shaping the HR offering in this outstanding true hands-on generalist role. Your day-to-day duties will include recruitment, onboarding, provision of HR advice, performance planning and involvement in disciplinary matters.
Whilst you will form a part of a broader national HR team, you will work autonomously and be given the opportunity to grow.
About the Project:
McConnell Dowell in partnership with John Holland (Joint Venture) have successfully been selected to deliver the Kidston Hydro 2 Project (K2-Hydro), in north Queensland (270km NW of Townsville). K2-Hydro is the flagship project of the Kidston Clean Energy Hub, an iconic renewable energy project. The project will be the first pumped storage hydro project to utilise an abandoned gold mine that’s integrated and co-located with the Kidston 50MW Solar Project to generate, store and dispatch renewable energy on demand during peak periods.
