In need of a committed Office Assistant who wants a career!

Essential Duties :

Answers incoming phone calls.

Directs caller to appropriate department or individual or takes a thorough message.

• Communicates with callers and customers at the cashier window in a professional , friendly and efficient manner.
• Receives cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; records amount received.
• Makes change and issues receipts to customers.
• Provides refunds or credit memorandums to customers for returned merchandise or as directed by managers.
• Provides clerical and secretarial assistance to departments as needed.
• Files within appropriate file system all dealership forms, records, s, correspondence or other important documents.
• Reads / Examines incoming material for accuracy and legibility, gets clarification if necessary, classifies properly and files with in appropriate filing system.
• Search for and retrieves information contained in files as requested.
• Reconciles and prepares daily deposit.
• Enters repair orders and invoices into DMS.
• Acts as backup to other in-office staff.
• Keeps work area neat and clean
• Stays on task

Office Assistant Requirements :

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic Accounting skills.
• computer skills and willingness to learn new programs.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.
• Friendly and welcoming personality.
