OVERVIEW

McCain is embarking on a digital transformation. As part of this transformation, we are making significant investments into our data systems, structures and policies, and building digital products for our customers, key suppliers and McCain team members to enable digital processes and data-driven automation over time.

Our Technology team’s goal is to inspire growth through innovative technology experiences. Our digital teams are key to deliver this ambition. McCain has established digital teams in Agriculture and Commercial and we are now looking forward to expanding our investments in Operations.

PURPOSE

Working closely with the Chief Supply Chain Officer, VP Global Manufacturing, VP Tech Services, Regional Manufacturing leads as well as the Global Technology team, this global role is instrumental in driving the development and execution of Digital strategy for Manufacturing across McCain’s global network. Driving the execution of the Digital roadmap and realization of the business case in collaboration with key stakeholders.

This role has a high level of autonomy, working extensively with the Global and Regional Management teams. As such, the role requires a resilient self-starter who can modify their approach as appropriate, recognizing the Cultural and organizational sensitivities across a Global business.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develops, with Global Supply Chain leadership team, the strategy and vision to use technology and data to drive and support McCain’s Manufacturing strategy globally

Identifies multi-year roadmap and initiatives supporting the strategy and building the business case including investment and value generation.

Drives, with enterprise architecture, the target state technology architecture, and business case for acquisition of new technologies including IoT, and foundational systems

Coordinates across team members including Product Owners, Portfolio Architects and 3rd parties to ensure delivery of the transformation roadmap by managing overall timelines, budgets, milestones, deliverables and prioritization

Overall vendor management and relationship management with third parties supporting Digital Manufacturing strategy

Leadership and development of a Digital Manufacturing team

Monitor status of business readiness activities including training to support local business initiatives

Stakeholder management across all levels and geographies, including holding stakeholders accountable to business case value realization

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Ten to Fifteen years of experience working with a focus in Technology or Manufacturing, evidence of progressive roles

Good business acumen, understands how to build use cases to drive value through the use of technology and data

Experience managing and driving complex, cross-functional program

Demonstrated experience and interest in using innovative technology

Demonstrated skill in change and stakeholder management

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate discipline

Master’s Degree or Applied Certificate in Data, Digital or related field (Strongly Preferred)
