McAuley Hall Health Care Center Hiring for Admission Coordinator/Business Office Assistant Full Time

McAuley Hall Health Care Center is a 74 bed skilled nursing center sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy located in beautiful Watchung NJ. We are a 5 STAR center that is committed to excellence in the care and services we provide. We currently have an opening for a Admission Coordinator/Business Office Assistant. Duties include the following:

Coordinating the resident referral and approval process in an efficient manner • Establishing & maintaining relationships with local hospitals • Understand the admissions process including policy, procedures, assessments & paperwork requirements • Support the facility’s Mission to generate a positive image & encourage word-of-mouth referrals • Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes • Assist with accounts payable and PNA accounts.

A very positive attitude and a passion to work with the geriatric population a must.

REQUIREMENTS: • Prior experience as post-acute and long-term care Admissions Coordinator • Ability to work independently and with a team • Be self-driven with excellent internal sales/marketing skills • Ability to implement the process to achieve desired outcomes • Possess communication, time management, and organizational skills • Solid computer skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 – $27.00 per hour
