Job Description:

MCRE is seeking a full-time Accounting & Operations Associate. Your primary responsibilities and hours have the opportunity to grow as you settle into the role.

Responsibilities

• Record monthly transactions and prepare bank reconciliations for MCRE and its smaller affiliated entities
• Own MCRE’s Accounts Payable function
• Oversee monthly payroll, including employee expense reports
• Prepare a monthly cash flow showing budget to actuals and reforecasts
• Assist the owners with quarterly expense reports and 401(k) contributions
• Quarterly billings for reimbursable expenses to our property entities
• Work with CPA to provide information for annual tax return preparation and 1099 filings
• Collaborate with the team to create annual operating budgets
• As needed, open new legal entities and bank accounts
• Ad hoc assignments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a GPA of 3.7 or higher
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Driven, organized, efficient, team-oriented, and personable

• Compensation will be commensurate with the market
• Location will be in our NYC headquarters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
