MBI I.T. Services Hiring for IT Field Technician at Brussels, ON Full Time

Contract: May 5th- June 6th, 2022 (Possibility of an extension).

We are hiring I.T Field Technicians who will provide onsite hardware and application support at the voting locations. This includes replacing/delivering, installing hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires candidates with excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy when reporting, delivering, installing, testing, updating and removal of equipment and confidence maintaining hardware and software to assure peak technology performance.

Must Have:
Strong written and verbal communication skills

College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or information technologies or 1 year equivalent work experience

Familiar with personal computers/printers/wireless connectivity devices

Android 8+ or Apple iOS14+ including a data package to receive emails and instant messaging

Ability to work extended hours as required

Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a table top surface

Eligible to work in Canada

No criminal record

Nice to Have:
CompTIA A+ certifications

Technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems

Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems and standards

Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides

Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures

Possession and use of an owned car for travel between locations
