MBDA Missile Systems – Deliver for a more secure tomorrow

Salary: £45,000 – £75,000 (dependent on experience) plus bonus and benefits

Due to an increase in the volume of its business, MBDA are currently recruiting for finance/accounting professionals, with various levels of experience, to support a number of our key finance departments.

Finance at MBDA offers a variety of roles; from management/financial accounting roles, functional cost control positions, long-term contract/project accountants and the chance to support our sales and bids team. We also have specialist roles in areas such as treasury and tax. Given the international/European nature of the MBDA business, many of these roles offer the opportunity to work internationally. In addition MBDA Finance offers fantastic opportunities for internal mobility; offering new challenges alongside the chance to develop your career and expand your experience.

What were looking for

• Ideally qualified or part-qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA, although Qualified by Experience will be considered for certain roles
• Ability to work in a matrix organisational environment, working as a key business partner and an integral part of a multi- disciplined team
• Confident, self-starter, able to work in a complex and sometimes ambiguous environment
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain finance to non-finance people
• Candidates who are innovative, who will look to drive continuous improvement and identify solutions, who are prepared to make things happen
• Experience of working in a large international organisation where focus is upon low volume high value product
