This role is a contract opportunity as a contingent worker for an initial period of approx 9-12 months.
Dynamic working pattern: Our team currently attend site one day per week and the remaining 4 days work remotely. Monthly and quarterly meetings are to be attended onsite where possible and ad hoc meetings as required. The option is there to attend site more regularly should you wish to.
The opportunity:
We are looking for a pragmatic structured recruitment professional to support the delivery of our Early Careers Programmes (Graduates, Undergraduates and Apprentices). This is an exciting fast paced environment involving a broad range of activities that includes recruitment, talent attraction and education liaison.
You will have a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in supporting the UK Early Careers Programme (ECP) recruitment strategy and in line with the overall business requirements.
This will include;
Assessment Centre Support – October through to May
Candidate pre-assessment session on Zoom (supporting candidates with technical run-through, expectations shared and guidance given)
Creating Assessment Booking using external platform
Sending Candidate invitations – initial call and email and making any required reasonable adjustments
Follow up calls after 48hrs – always by phone (not email)
Removing withdrawn candidates and invite reserves (both on ATS/Workday and external platform)
Create Assessment Centre timetables within external platform and the addition of assessors – AC and DEMO
ATS – Administration/Status change – across Assessment Centres
Possible support as and when needed in making offers and rejections (dependent on experience) – October through to May – Primary responsibility though remains with HR Advisors
On-boarding process/platform – uploading and sharing content, messages, updates – either via external partner and/or increased comms shared on careers website – “keep warm” approach if not using external provider/tools – load candidates onto platform
Recruitment/Attraction Support (may include the following):
Organising and supporting careers fairs and school, college and university led events (once booked) – possible future attendance.
Support to Recruitment Advisor with the creation and sharing of content across job boards, marketing partners, outreach partners (recruitment) website content, onboarding/events tool – ad-hoc conversations – organising and supporting campus champions
Role profiles/info – reaching out to managers/Technical Coordinators – support and chasing with tracking and storing of data including medicals and security Risk Categorisations
Support the build around relationships across schools, Universities and Colleges, including webinars and hosting Q & A’s
Managing surveys and feedback in line with requests from Early Careers HR Advisors and HR Manager – weekly activity for assessor survey
Arrange appropriate DBS checks ref safeguarding – Early Career programmes and activities only
