About the role

Join Mazda Australia as the next Area Manager – Vehicle Dealership Network working across WA. ing directly to the State Sales Operations Manager WA based in Kewdale, Perth. This position requires regular travel to a portfolio of assigned dealerships within the region. This opportunity is a key business development opportunity where you can help to drive growth in line with Mazda Australia’s sales objectives.

The relationship between Mazda Australia and the Dealer network is a critical factor that helps drive our collective business results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drive increased sales volume profitability and market penetration for vehicles, parts, services, and accessories.
• Ensure dealerships consistently meet the business’s high-performance standards, focusing on the “Ultimate Customer Experience”.
• Undertake quarterly assessments of dealerships, communicating performance feedback to Dealer Principals, and implementing structured action plans.
• Oversee or implement training, co-operative advertising, national campaigns, and local market intelligence efforts among Dealers.
• Maintain a regular visit schedule with each dealership, adding value at every visit and ing progress through dealer visit s.
• Uphold Mazda’s brand reputation through effective management of policies, programs, and procedures, solidifying our position as a leading automotive brand for both Dealers and customers.

About You

• A Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous automotive experience in a similar role.
• A self-starter with demonstrated ability to build long term strategic partnerships/relationships with new and existing customers.
• A proven track record of driving growth and development in a KPI-driven environment
• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and influential abilities to inspire growth and drive business success.
• Customer-centric mindset.
• Strong financial and analytical expertise.
• Valid driver’s licence and a willingness to travel regionally in WA and across the business national where applicable.
