Job Purpose

As a Team Leader for Outsourcing, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing one of our delivery team’s in Edinburgh, focusing on delivering an outstanding outsourcing service to a mix of key clients.

The job role is wide-ranging but focusses especially on ensuring client service standards are maintained, and developing your team.

This is a high-profile role which aims to have a significant impact on how we deliver our modern firm vision within this fast growing, rapidly changing business unit.

The Outsourcing business unit, within the AOS service line, has enjoyed rapid growth in recent years based on high quality client service and technology. The business is seeking a high-quality individual to join this successful team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Managing team in a busy and demanding environment
• Working with clients to ensure deadlines are met
• Working to ensure high standard of quality and legislation requirements are met
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• To work with other departments in Mazars to support other client services as required.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Passion for quality and delivering results.
• Well organised, able to work to deadlines and comfortable in dealing with senior team members in discussions around review findings.
• Excellent client handling skills and comfortable dealing with clients at all levels on both technical and commercial matters.
• Strong management and leadership skills – organised, able to deliver to deadlines, managing and liaising with various stakeholders in a professional services environment.
• Able to define solutions and influence others in a positive way.
• Results driven.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrates a clear and effective style of communication and is naturally able to communicate clearly to all types of people, regardless of knowledge and experience.
• Ability to think in flexible way and apply principles to different services within the Accounting and Outsourcing Services service line.
• Proven ability to solve problems in a pragmatic and innovative way, assessing risks and finding solutions.
• Experience in managing a team would be preferred
• Experience in either an accounting or payroll enviroment would also be preferred
• Edinburgh location would be useful but not essential
