Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Provided logistical support to the department supervisor for domestic shipments.
• Generated freight quotes for sales personnel.
• Assisted in timely delivery schedules for the department.
• Supplied dimensions and weights for numerous models of large machinery.
• Maintained strong relationships with vendors.
• Organized all physical files with important paperwork for Accounting.
• Built BOL’s and Packing Lists for shipments off T/C floor.

Education/Certification

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Preferred Skills:

• 1-2 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain is require. 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Takes prompt action and initiative to finish daily tasks
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Strives to achieve accuracy and consistency in all daily tasks.
• Strong communication skills via e-mail and phone.
