Introduction
Based in Eight Mile Plains, the Finance Assistant will be an important part of our team, accurately recording financial activities pertaining to the different Divisions of MAX Solutions. You are a person who takes pride in ensuring financial operations run smoothly and can act as liaison between external and internal stakeholders and work alongside a team of Finance specialists and work for a team that is making a valuable contribution to the community. This is a 6 month temporary full-time opportunity.

The opportunity
- Processing of customer invoicing, credit notes and refunds
- Receipting and allocaiton of debtor payments, including cash, cheques and direct deposits
- Debt collection and credit control
- Dealing with external customer queries
- Support and prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations and prepare monthly journals, including accruals and recharges
About you
- Experience within an Accounts receivable or similar role
- Financial skills with the ability to suggest improvements to processes and procedures
- Relevant financial qualifications or degree in Accounting highly regarded
- Experience in the use of Dynamics 365 finance and operations and/or Great Plains financial system
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet timelines
- Good level of business acumen and strong communication skills
- Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
