Based in Toronto, Ontario. This role is currently hybrid with some duties as needed performed in the office.
The Role:
The Business Analyst works with our customers to help them get greater value from our product. They are a member of the Data Integration and Analytics team which manages the interface with third party systems and provides reporting capabilities. The Business Analyst is in regular contact with our customers to gather requirements, assist with implementation and help them improve their business processes by using our product.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Integration
Develop business requirements for the integration with external partners and third party softwares
Coordinate with teams outside of the organization to define new, and improve on existing, integration workflows
Build strong and trusting relationships with our partners by providing clear, meaningful and timely communication both in person and written
Write clear documentation of integration features for development work by engineering team
Reporting
Collect and cleanse datasets via written data queries, searching external sources and gathering data from partners
Work with large datasets and business intelligence tools to develop key metrics and reporting dashboards
Meet with partners to define reporting needs and deliver end product to their users
Required Skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills in dealing with colleagues, the management team, and external partners
A keen eye for detail that helps efficiently detect and solve problems
Analytical thinking skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements
Excellent Microsoft excel skills
Effective time management skills
Working knowledge of query languages
Ability and eagerness to quickly learn new skills and techniques
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

NoSQL query language specifically mongoDB
