MAUSER Hiring for Yard Driver / Trailer Loader Full Time

Position Summary:
The yard driver works in a truck yard to organize tractor trailers within the space and to ensure trucks and trailers are ready for unloading, loading, and transport.
Responsibilities:

• Move trailers in and out of docks or around the truck yard
• Ability to back up trailers to dock doors, often with other trailers on either side of the dock
• Use of other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, manual jacks and forklifts
• Clean out trailers before or after moving
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on tractors and trailers
• Manually load and unload drums from trailers
• Maintain inventory of onsite trailers

Job Requirements Requirements:

• Good customer service & teamwork skills
• Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
• Able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
• Good backing skills
• Recent verifiable, tractor/ trailer driving experience or related
• Great organization skills
• Available for 1st shift.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
• Implement and follow safe work practices and rules.
• Able to prove they have a right to work in the United States.
• Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to have a baseline audiometric test
• Prefer high school graduates or GED’s
• Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job

Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
