Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine Hiring for Advertising Account Manager Full Time

Are you well-connected in the Maui business community? Come join the team at Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine as an Advertising Account Manager. You’ll help produce Maui’s premier magazine by building relationships with the island’s leading businesses.

As an Advertising Account Manager, you will:

• Meet with marketing directors, business owners and managers, and community leaders.
• Consult with advertisers to help them develop marketing packages for Maui No Ka ‘Oi Magazine’s mix of print and digital media products.
• Create and deliver advertising sales proposals to clients.
• Track your sales activity in our CRM system.
• Attend business functions as a representative of the magazine.
• Prospect, pitch and close new and existing accounts.
• Have fun connecting with some of the best people on the planet – our customers.

These are the skills and attributes you will need to do this job well:

• Bachelor of Arts in business, advertising, marketing, communications, teaching, journalism or related field of study.
• A desire to serve and help.
• Comfortable speaking to and meeting with people.
• Excellent organization.
• Writing concise (and persuasive) business emails.
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• CRM programs (Salesforce, etc.)
• Honest, hardworking and a cheerful attitude.

What you’ll earn:

You’ll earn a healthy base wage week, plus commission on sales. A yearly wage ranging from $50,000 and $80,000 for full-time employment is typical. We also have positions open for part-time work – please inquire if interested.
