We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our team in Leicester on a permanent basis.
This is an office-based role, the successful applicant will be expected to work from the Leicester office, with some flexibility on remote working.
THE ROLE
This role provides the opportunity to move towards a professionally qualified position in the finance team should the candidate demonstrate their ability to augment the team and potential to progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is pivotal in supporting the Custodian Capital finance team to operate efficiently and achieve its outputs. Please see below for a brief outline of the responsibilities:
  • raising purchase orders
  • setting up new suppliers
  • processing purchase invoices
  • setting up payment runs
  • preparing and submitting Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
  • bank reconciliations
  • assisting management accounting team with the preparation of quarterly management account packs and year end reporting
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • one year working as an accounts assistant or similar
  • A-levels grade A – C (4 to 9) or Level 3 equivalent
  • excellent interpersonal skills and clear/precise communication skills, both verbally and in writing, at all levels
  • have an organised approach with the ability to prioritise workload and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
