Our client, is seeking out an Administrative Assistant to join their Maintenance team in their Kitimat office in Kitimat, BC. This successful candidate for this position will work 38-40 hours per week, specific hourly schedule to be determined. In this role, the qualified candidate will be reporting to the Office Supervisor. The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform an array of administrative duties, including taking minutes during meetings, maintaining office inventories, front desk duties, and other clerical support services. The Administrative Assistant must maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions. Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage work order documents and utilize maintenance management software.
- Complete Purchase Requests and invoice approvals in SAP.
- Ability to take initiative to change direction quickly to meet the needs of the Restart Project team.
- Oversee office building and associated care.
Minimum Qualifications including Education and Related Experience:
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- RTBS/SAP Knowledge would be a strong asset.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Ability to be proactive and work with minimal direction.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Experience working in an Administrative role is considered an asset.
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities including licenses and certificates:
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility and teamwork.
- Strong coordination skills and ability to work well with other multiple levels of an organization.
