Matrix Labour Leasing Ltd. Hiring for Manufacturing Manager (FT) at Lethbridge, AB Full Time
Matrix is recruiting a Manufacturing Manager to work out of our client’s Bow Island Manufacturing Facility in support of their modular construction projects throughout western Canada and the USA.
Responsibilities:
Analyze, assess, improve and document current manufacturing processes and efficiencies in direct input, team-coordinated fashion.
Develop and implement processes to meet and exceed production and quality targets.
Monitor staff performance and engage directly in performance improvement.
Mentor and train employees on continuous improvement tools, strategies, techniques, and individual efficiency improvements.
Working with the team, recruit staff to meet production targets.
Advise senior management team on growth strategies to maximize current facility.
Advise senior management team on factory expansion and automation advancements.
Continually improve the company’s manufacturing best practices and tools.
Other duties as reasonably requested.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5-10 years of previous experience in manufacturing management.
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
Experience managing multiple project schedules and budgets.
Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Projects, Smartsheet).
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings and related documents.
