Matrix Design Graphics Ltd. Hiring for Electronics Assembler at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Matrix Design Graphics is seeking a Full Time Electronics Assembler/Technician. We are looking for an experienced, self-starter who is eager to contribute to the team. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution and have 2 years of experience as an electrical manufacturing assembler; The CFAA Technician program would also be an asset.

Prerequisites:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position

• Ability to read and understand assembly documentation and Interpret electrical schematics, drawings & blueprints
• Capacity to work as a team to achieve deadline and the ability to adapt to tight schedules
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities:

Installation, mounting and fixing electrical components (electronic enclosures & panels) following technical documentation, mechanical drawings and electrical schematics of electrical/electronic subassemblies

• Assembly of wires and components to build custom products

• Perform electrical connections: stripping, crimping, hand soldering, inspection and rework of all thru-hole and custom parts as per engineering specifications
• Cutting plexiglas and polymer material with a panel saw and use of shop tools

• Ability to use QuickBooks 2020 Manufacturing Edition for inventory management – An Asset!

• Physically able to:

• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Use a fork lift
• Manage repetitive tasks
• Manual dexterity: attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Ability to distinguish between colours
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking

Employment Terms:

Full-time, permanent position

• Day time hours 8:30am to 4:30pm – some flexibility
• Competitive remuneration based on experience: $20.00 to $27.00/hour
