• 3 years of experience working with general accounting, expenses side
• Need to be strong in Excel
• Able to work independently
• Need to be flexible, detail oriented, organized

Job Description:

• Work closely with the Accounting Supervisor or Manager to ensure compliance with GAAP and Corporate Policy.
• Maintain SOX compliance and assist in audit preparation, both internal and external.
• Read and evaluate vendor contracts. Ensure remittance is done timely based on contract terms and expense treatment is performed appropriately according to accounting guidance.
• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP across a broad area of balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on designated accounts.
• Collaborate closely with associates in other departments to ensure timely and accurate completion of all tasks.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.
• Work on special projects and prepare special analyses, as required.
• Participate in the Company SAP implementation.

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with general accounting, revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

• CPA license and/or Master’s degree in Accounting
• SAP and BPC experience
• Deep understanding of general ledger, internal controls and US GAAP requirements
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize deliverables and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and reconcile difficult accounts
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with varying levels of employees and departments
