Division 10 Specialties Construction Accounting Assistant
Full-Time (In Office) Division 10 Accounting Assistant for Distributor of Miscellaneous Specialties located in Bala Cynwyd, PA. (Montgomery County, 19004)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process Sales Tax & Use Tax for multiple states
· Perform weekly & monthly check runs
· Post Customer Receipts
· Perform Journal entries
· Assist with monthly closing
· Process Payroll
· Bank Reconciliation
· Generate and monitor aging reports
· Prepare AIA billing to General Contractors
· Process General Contractor Releases & Waivers
· Collections
· Provide Accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Account Reconciliation.
· Process daily/weekly/monthly invoices
· OCIP/CCIP Enrollments and Certified Payrolls
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
· Construction Accounting; previous experience with a General Contractor, Subcontractor, Supplier and familiarity of Division 10 products is preferred.
· Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and solid understanding of basic Accounting concepts.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, effectively communicate with internal and external contractors and vendors.
· Required computer proficiency (MS Office — Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Possess a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
· Ability to work independently, complete accounting assignments within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
