Mater Health Hiring for Talent Resourcer Job at Newstead Full Time

Mater are searching for Talent Resourcer to join the team on 12-month maximum term contract to cover a maternity leave. This role will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager, offering a hybrid working model.

The role will be responsible for creating a seamless experience for new starters, and our people here at Mater. This position will primarily be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and other day-to-day Talent resourcing duties.

What you’ll be doing

• Respond to enquiries about recruitment activities and status of job vacancies
• Prepare job postings and brief external recruitment partners in accordance with our recruitment standards
• Explore innovative sourcing methodologies and non-traditional channels for finding new candidates
• Contact candidates and schedule interviews
• Complete reference checks and coordinate Criminal History Checks
• Support the HR team in the preparation of employment contracts, variation letters and other ad hoc documents
• Assist with HR projects and other ad hoc tasks as required.
• Management of Careers Inbox and providing advice, guidance and feedback to enquiries within required SLA’s
• First call resolution for questions/queries
• Ensure all customer/manager iterations are professional and deliver the highest levels of customer service at all times.
• First point resolution for all enquiries (internally and externally) where possible
• Ensuring all aspects of the recruitment process comply with relevant employment legislation
• Database and administrative management e.g. Requisition lodgement and closure
• Answering queries received from HR Helpdesk
• Assist with management of Careers Inbox and providing advice, guidance and feedback to enquiries within required SLA’s
• Assists the Director of Talent/Talent Acquisition Manager in the preparation of presentations, proposals and reports
• Other general ad hoc administration when required

About you

You will have prior experience of recruitment admin/resourcing related activity, either as an in-house or agency setting.

• Experience in the healthcare industry would be advantageous
• Resilience in the ability to juggle multiple priorities at any one time
• Commitment and a desire to make a difference by the work that you do
• Well-organised with a keen interest in talent/recruitment, or similar transactional roles, including the ability to maintain a sustained level of focus in high volume processing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance in a timely manner
• A highly competent communicator, consultation, and negotiation skills, both verbal and written
• Strong written skills and the ability to draft advertisements/contracts and other professional correspondence
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Self-driven and ability to work autonomously
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Ability to shift focus and pivot processes to delivery outcomes when necessary
