Mater Health Hiring for Talent Acquisition Adviser Job at Newstead Full Time

Mater are searching for Talent Acquisition Advisor to join the team on 9 month maximum term contract to cover a maternity leave. This role will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager – Projects, offering a hybrid working model. This role will work collaboratively within People and Learning to assist with ensuring, streamlined and efficient recruitment, selection, appointment, allocation and rostering of medical officers to Mater Health.

What you’ll be doing

You will assist the recruitment of recruit Doctors to Mater Health positions to ensure the medical establishment is maintained in collaboration with the Medical Education Team. This includes advertising via the RMO campaign and Page Up, shortlisting against selection criteria, interviewing, reference checking and offering positions.

• Arrange, conduct, keep records and provide feedback for interviews for all rotational junior medical officer positions
• Collaborate with Mater HR officers to ensure the correct and timely onboarding of candidates requiring visa sponsorship and support with AHPRA Registration applications
• Understand all legislation relevant to medical staff employment and establish relationships with the appropriate legislative bodies to ensure Mater compliance including key stakeholders including AHPRA, Immigration and Qld Health
• Represent Mater Health at relevant medical recruitment and allocation events such as Queensland Health medical workforce forums, AHPRA sessions and the Annual ANZPMEF
• Maintain relationships with other Health Services to preserve and improve secondment arrangements for rotational junior medical staff as required
• Coordinate the administrative procedures in relation to pay classification details, entitlements and benefits for junior medical staff
• Provide advice to departments with their JHO/SHO/REG/PHO/FELLOW recruitment through the yearly RMO campaign
• Ensure that internal and external recruiting policy and practices are executed
• Reply to and manage all medical recruitment enquiries
