About the role
Mater Mothers’ Hospital (MMH) currently has an exceptional opportunity available for a Clinical Midwife/Nurse to work as a Credentialed Diabetes Educator. This position is offered in a fixed term (until February 2023) 0.8FTE capacity and will be based at our South Brisbane campus.
MMH is a leader in the provision of high quality maternity and newborn services for the people of Queensland and northern New South Wales. Providing exceptional care and support for women and their families, we offer integrated services covering obstetrics, gynaecology, neonatology, and maternal foetal medicine.
Salary range: $48.66 – $52.13 (RN Level 2) per hour plus superannuation
What you’ll be doing
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Midwife/Nurse with exceptional leadership and communication skills to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team providing care for women with diabetes in pregnancy. The successful applicant will have a clear understanding of evidence-based midwifery/ nursing practice and care of women with diabetes through pregnancy and postnatal periods.
