Matchtech Looking for Principal Engineer – Major Projects at London Full Time

The position itself will include, but not be limited to:

• Project programme development and management
• Budget Control and reporting
• Adopt best and appropriate practice for the works in hand
• Client engagement / supply chain interface
• Resource management
• Stakeholder engagement
• Effective communication
• Working across organisational boundaries
• Seek to add value on all works
• Ensure quality control
• Assist in the bidding and securing of new works
• Staff development

Our ideal candidate will have but not limited to:

• Chartered or actively working towards Chartered status
• Demonstrable experienced Highways Engineer in both local authority and private sector
• Wide range of skills and projects including highways, engineering and with a breath of disciplines and skillset to coordinate across the team
• Ability to determine appropriate solutions with innovation and added value at all stages
• Experience of DMRB, Conditions of Contract, MCHW, Health and Safety and Best Practice
• Knowledge of and engagement with the civil engineering industry
• NEC3 Project Management Accreditation or equivalent
