CMM Technician – Day Shift

What is a typical day for our CMM Technicians?

• Conduct dimensional inspections on completed parts using CMM equipment, machines and other hand measuring instruments.
• Analyze to ensure conformance of parts to design intent, dimensional requirements, blueprints and other specifications
• Identify discrepancies and non-conformance issues, communicating report results to the Quality Control Engineering Specialist for corrective action where required.
• Assist in providing resolution of dimensional issues.
• Ensure inspections and use of CMM is conducted in an acceptable manner and to establish organizational procedures.
• Update / Revise, Create and maintain CMM programming and supplementary documentation as requested or required by engineering changes.
• Instruct co-workers on CMM setup/programs/ and other inspections
• Help Prepare Inspection Activities for Afternoon / Evening Shift Staff

Here is what you need to apply:

• A CMM Technician with a keen eye for detail
• 3-5 years of direct work experience with CMM equipment,
• Experience with CMM Manager Software or Renishaw CMM Equipment, conducting quality inspections.
• Mechanical / Manufacturing Technician / Technologist Diploma or equivalent.
• Bonus Points if you have prior experience with fixture design and creation as it relates to CMM Measurement / Metrology
• 3D Printing Skills / Knowledge
• CAD/CAM Ability / Knowledge
