Job Responsibilities:
The Behavior Technician provides direct care services to individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). In addition, they follow through with skill acquisition and behavior programs as developed by the BCBA and indicated in the treatment plan. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
· Provide direct services to clients based on current treatment plan
· Maintain confidentiality with all client records and information.
· Take program data on all relevant programs and goals for each session
· Notify supervisor and family for employee-initiated cancellations.
· Notify supervisor for family-initiated cancellations.
· Conduct self in a professional manner and maintains professional boundaries when working with client in any setting.
· Complete and syncs session notes at the end of each session
· Timely syncing of data from software
Work Experience:
· High School Diploma, GED or degree from post-secondary education – Required
· Prior ABA experience with special needs client clients – Highly Preferred
· Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Preferred
· Prior experience working in-home – Preferred
· Effective Oral and written communication skills
· Reliable means of transportation
· Must pass state and county background check
· Providing in-home Direct Therapy – Preferred
