• Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) provides partners and customers with a white label technology solution for digital payment processing and fraud prevention all over the world
• The Sr Finance Analyst, MPGS Billing is responsible for financial operational activities that include processing, billing and reporting globally within the MPGS Business Unit
• The position reports to the MPGS Controller, part of the Europe Regional Controller’s group.

All about you

Responsibilities

• Issues invoices to customers in their area of responsibility, and co-ordinates overall billing activities for MPGS business, ensuring all invoices are issued in a timely and accurate way
• Proactively builds strong relationship with Account and Relationship Managers to provide and execute billing / accounting solutions for new deals
• Performs and strengthen controls on billing operations, including first billing cycle tests, spreadsheet controls and input-output reconciliations
• Works with Billing Operations to implement required updates to billing system, e.g. customer or price changes
• Analyzes billing data, researches trends, identifies issues and provides insights to Controllers and FP&A team
• Responds to customer billing inquiries for their area of responsibility
• Identifies opportunities for process optimization across MPGS billing operations, and coordinates with leadership to implement improvements; Support platform optimization and automation projects
• Researches and resolves production billing issues and incidents; coordinates meetings with relevant stakeholders to resolve open issues
• Develops and maintains MPGS billing desktop procedures and playbooks

Qualification and skills

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Part-qualified accountant preferred (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Driven, result-oriented and enthusiastic person
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow up and follow through
• Ability to collaborate effectively with co-workers and clients in a culturally and educationally diverse environment
