Master Electronics has an exciting new career opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will be reporting to the Vice President of People in Phoenix, AZ.

How you will spend your time:

• Partner with people team members and hiring managers in the talent management and recruitment of positions
• Proactively spend time with the business to better understand essential job duties and team cultures of the position(s) they support
• Assess candidates “fit for culture”, sell the role, total rewards to candidates
• Identify, source, and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches that include but not limited to market and internet search, identifying alternate candidate sources, referral recruiting, online social networking, and/or attending job fairs
• Review, pre-screen, and interview candidates by conducting telephone, Zoom and in-person interviews to determine appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
• Keep candidates informed with quality communications throughout the interview process to ensure positive candidate experience
• Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates, and/or reports
• Maintain a functional understanding of federal and state HR related regulations and compliance procedures such as FLSA, OSHA, Vets 100, EEO-1, Affirmative Action Plans, etc.
• Work as a team regarding onboarding process; confirm completion of background check and E-Verify process; confirm orientation with candidates and facilitate new hire paperwork completion
• Maintain records of personnel-related data (e.g., new hire forms, I-9 documents, etc.) and ensures all regulatory requirements are met
• Provide exceptional customer service to our customers and internal departments
• Develop strategies and goals to streamline the recruitment process
• Sourcing and identifying active and passive candidates that meet current and future hiring needs

We’re excited if you have:

• Minimum of two (2) years of successful full time recruiting experience in fast paced, high volume, full cycle recruiting environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office (i.e., MS Word, MS Outlook, etc.)
• Meticulous attention to detail and task-related accuracy; as well as consistent follow-through skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and basic editing
• Excellent organizational/time-management and multitasking skills
• A strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
• Highly professional and ability to maintain tact and confidentiality
• Ability to do research
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Basic understanding of employment law as it relates to recruitment and hiring practices

We would prefer if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous experience utilizing the Predictive Index (PI) tool
• Previous experience utilizing UKG (UltiPro) Applicant Tracking System
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
