Master Electronics Hiring for Logistics Clerk at Miami, FL, United States Full Time

As a Logistics Clerk, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and accurate movement of shipments within our organization.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of services provided and enhancing the overall efficiency of our supply chain.

This role involves responding to customer inquiries, reviewing shipping documents, coordinating shipments, and working collaboratively with the logistics team.

You will also be responsible for managing shipping errors, preparing invoices, and developing processes to optimize the supply chain.

What you will do?

• Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
• Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels
• Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
• Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
• Tracking and fixing shipping errors
• Preparing bills and invoices
• Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
• Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized
• Process and prepare customer orders for shipment, and distribute to the appropriate shipping vendor in a timely and accurate fashion and fast-paced environment
• Work with fellow team members to accurately ship customer orders
• Schedule Inbound and Outbound Freight using phone, email, and / or suppliers web-based portal
• Provide Freight Quotes for Small Parcel, LTL, Air, Ocean, Domestic, and / or International shipments
• Manage the Claims and Rebills process to determine carrier loss
• Managing distribution and shipment budgets
• Ensure customer orders are packaged, labeled and prepared for shipping or responsible for staging order for shipment
• Operate shipping and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Manage the research process for lost and delayed shipments
• Communicate with carriers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
• Assist team in all shipping and logistics operations functions as needed

What you bring to the table!

• High school diploma or G.E.D., preferred
• At least one year of experience in a shipping and freight environment, preferred
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft (MS) Office (i.e., MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, etc.)
• Understands the UPS and FedEx online portal experience
• Ability to multi-task in an effective, timely and professional manner, where customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal
• Team-oriented operating style with effective interpersonal skills that allow successful business interactions with individuals of all leadership styles, personalities, and career levels
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift, move, carry, push / pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand. bend, stoop and / or walk for up to 8-10 hours daily
• May encounter loud noises while in some areas of the distribution center, as well as experiencing high temperatures in the summer months

Wage : Starting at $17.00 per hour
